Tribal
home office reflects client’s love of travel…
This tribal
infused Home Office Remodel now reflects the clients love of travel
to exotic destinations, and offers them a well appointed workspace
while surrounding them with an “Art gallery / Library” feel.
Originally,
dated glass block, white walls, poor light and the ever-present
mirrored wardrobe closet did not make for and enjoyable stay in their
home office. But now it’s one of their favorite rooms in the
house!
Part of
an entire home remodel currently underway, their office is warmed
now with hardwood floors, ebony cabinetry, granite countertops
and all the “unattractive” electronic gear has been
hidden behind specially crafted pull-out cabinets.
Treasured
African artifacts from the client’s travels abroad
set the tone and give the room it’s unique spice!

Before the office remodel, our client had a tiny, unfunctional corner
to work in. Now her workspace provides her a beautiful place to work,
create, and manage her household. Wonderful colors and combinations
of layered light give it a special feeling to be at her chair, while
she enjoys gazing at her beloved African tapestry above.

Before the transformation, a useless mirrored wardrobe closet, partition
wall, and non-functional book display were the backdrop for the other
side of this office.
The designer removed the closet, expanded the space, removed the
partition wall and created a drop down ceiling area to join up with
new built-in cabinets. This unique corner arrangement skillfully
blended uneven wall depths, ceiling heights and the need for beautiful
storage, display and filing space.
